Welcome to Generator 2010 on November 23-24

The Generator Conference is the natural meeting place for people involved in the development of cultural and creative industries in Sweden. The conference is aimed primarily at policy makers and practitioners in the cultural, commercial and business development in the private and public sectors, locally, regionally and nationally. Generator 2010 is organized by the generator of Sweden in cooperation with, Tillväxtverket, the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten, Norrbotten County Council, Piteå, Luleå and Regional Growth.

The aim of the conference is to provide you and other participants of inspiration, new ideas and solutions to take home and use in their daily operations. Work to establish the program for this year's Generator Conference is in full swing and now is your chance to participate and influence the content of your experiences and questions!  To date, programs work resulted in three main topics that will be discussed:

Business models, entrepreneurship and finance

Example: how we build a sustainable creative industry?

Education and Research
Example: how we teach creativity in schools and the academy?

Business Intelligence
For example, what actually happens in the rest of the world within the cultural and creative industries?

Each topic will address best practices from around Sweden to show how regional growth and attraction can be promoted through the development of cultural and creative industries.
